pOn Thursday February 10th all 5 Haverford Township fire companies responded to 328 E. Manoa Rd. for a building fire. Thanks to the quick thinking of a neighbor who called 911 when they smelled smoke the fire fighters were able to contain the fire to 2 rooms.ppAs Manoa Rd. is the dividing line between the Llanerch Fire Company and the Brookline Fire Company this past Saturday the two companies teamed up to visit the neighborhood and remind residence about the importance of home fire safety.ppDuring Project NEO fire fighters from both departments visited the homes in that area offering residence an opportunity to have a fire fighter check their smoke detectors check smoke detector placements provide and installnbspnew detectors if needed and provide general fire prevention tips. nbspppnbspp
