There is a potential for strong windsbrflooding and power outages. brppThe Llanerch Fire Company wants to help you brace for this impending storm. brppBelow are some basic tips to help you preparebr- Have an Emergency Kit- The kit should minimally include flashlights abrbattery-operated radio spare batteries a whistle to signal for help a firstbraid kit and a can-opener.br- Be sure your cell phone is charged. If you have a car charger or solarbrcharger keep that handy as well.br- Water 1 gallon of water per person per day for 3 days.br- Non-perishable food. Enough for 3 days.br- If you live in a flood prone area have an evacuation plan. Arrange for abrplace for your family to stay should your home flood. Be sure to includebrplans for your pets as well.br- Tie down and secure any items on your property that have the potential tobrblow away in high winds.br- Disconnect and shut-off barbeque propane tanksbr- Avoid downed power lines. Report them to PECO if possible.br- Fill your vehicles fuel tank prior to the storms arrivalbr- Drive only if necessary.
