pOn Saturday July 30 2011 crews from LFC headed out to the Community Park at Haverford Reserve to support Freedom Playground by taking part in the annualnbsp Touch-A-Truck event. Attendees were able to climb on anbsp variety of trucks including pieces from all 5 of the HTBF fire stations HTPD as well as the Paramedic Dept. With temperatures in the 90s the crew from Tower 34 cooled things off with the quotTower Showerquot The event is held annually to raise money for improvements and upkeep of Freedom Playground an all-access playground that many of the LFC members help build.
