It was a busy day Saturday 29 for Llanerch Brookline and Manoa firefighters.br br In the morning a neighbor called about a basespan classtextexposedshowment fire next door in the Llanerch District. Crews found a workman using a gas powered saw in a basement and the gas odor and concrete dust smell spurred the call. Elevated CO readings were found as well so the house was ventilated. Brookline and Manoa were on hand to help.br br Mid afternoon in the Brookline District was a bedroom fire picture below. Manoa and Llanerch firefighters assisted Brookline and the fire was contained to one bedroom. All 3 companies stayed until all hose was wrapped up and repacked on Brooklines engine.br br And at dinner time the same 3 companies were called again for a fire alarm in the Llanerch district.
