At 05:13 hours on Sunday, February 26th, Llanerch Fire Company was dispatched to the Victoria Arms Apartments on the 1300 Block of Darby Road to assist Brookline Fire Company on a building fire. Initial dispatch reported smoke from the boiler room.
Brookline Chief 35-9 assumed command and reported no fire but high readings of carbon monoxide in the building. Engine 34-1, Engine 34-2, Tower 34, and Utility 34 all responded and crews assisted with checking carbon monoxide levels, primary search, secondary search, evacuating building residents to the temporary shelter at Brookline Fire Company, and ventilation.
At 06:47 hours Llanerch units were released by 35 Command.
Also on location were Oakmont Fire Company, Manoa Fire Company, Bon Air Fire Company, Narberth EMS, and Haverford Township Police.
